The place to be on Labor Day Weekend!

Come and join us for an old fashioned County Fair and the Panhandle Rodeo that has been a tradition in northeastern Oregon since the 1920's. Visitors, vacationers, and local residents can look forward to lots of fun watching the grand parade, rodeo events, displays of the fruits of the land and livestock, craftsmanship, and artistic
entries.
Pick your favorite cowboy and cheer him on. Join in the excitement of
ICA-Pro West competitors as they compete for prize money. Watch as youngsters compete in "peewee" contests on animals scaled to their smaller sizes. Join in the fun of the cowhide races where competitors try to stay on a cowhide being dragged by a cowboy and horse.
The Daredevil Sweethearts from Redding, California, will perform during
the rodeo. Rodeo events and performances start at 7 p.m. Saturday,
2:p.m. Sunday, and 2:30 p.m. Monday.
The exhibit hall promises displays of exquisite quilting talent, offerings of talented photographers in both film and digital formats, arts and crafts, land products of fruits and vegetables grown in Baker County, delicious breads, bakery goods, canning products, jams and jellies, and a festival of flowers.
The livestock exhibition and competition is always a major draw at a County Fair, and the Baker County Fair - Halfway will be one of the best this year. The open competition event with classes for adults through juniors, judging conformation and showmanship, will be exciting to watch.
Livestock auction begins at 10 a.m. Monday.
And then for more fun, there are dances on Saturday and Sunday starting
at 9 p.m. at the Pine Valley Grange Hall on the fairgrounds.
