Nostalgia from the past going back to
when the Hells Canyon dams were built in the 1950s and '60s, the store served
dam construction workers as a trading post. Its Quonset hut appearance is
preserved and largely unchanged since then. It has always been a store that
provides all the needs of its customers through the decades. Today it serves
campers, fishermen, tourists and local residents.
